ANDREW 'ANDY' MICHALAK III
It is with deep despair that we inform you that our beloved Andy Michalak has passed away on December 9, 2007
Andy was our true hidden gem here at The Club at Emerald Hills and to say that he will be missed is an understatement.
Our condolances go out to his wife, his family and to all of his friends which we all consider ourselves.
May he rest in peace.
HOWARD JEFFREY ZIMMERMAN
Zimmerman, Howard Jeffrey, 64, of Davie, passed away Thursday, November 15.
He is survived by his wife Theresa "Terry" Zimmerman; 3 children, Robin Mizerak, (Theodore, Jr.), Edward Jay Zimmerman, Brian Bovingdon (Kristi); & four grand- children, Cory, Teddy, Elle, & Brian. Howard was the founder of H. J. Zimmerman & Associates, Zimmerman Management Services, and The Crexent Business Centers.
For 19 years he has been the General Manager & CEO of The Club at Emerald Hills. In addition, Howard served in many key organizations, i.e., past Vice Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Pembroke Pines; past member of the City of Pembroke Pines' Charter Review Board; Vice Chairman of the City of Pembroke Pines' Capital Improvement Program; a Commission appointee to the Broward County Management Review Committee; past Board of Director of Turnberry Savings and Loan Association; past member of the Broward County Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee; eighteen year elected member of the Board of Supervisors of the South Broward Drainage District; and appointee of the Broward County Commissioner to the Broward County Charter Review Commission.
In addition, he was a co-founder and served as the Tournament Director for 10 years of the Conine All-Star Classic, benefiting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Foundation at Memorial Hospital.
