Club History

   The club opened in 1969 as Emerald Hills Country Club, a Bruce Devlin & Robert Von Hagge design. For the next 20 years, there were several PGA Tour head professionals (Ted Kroll, David Graham & Larry Ziegler).

   In 1989, the club was redesigned by Charles Ankrom and renamed The Club at Emerald Hills. Since then it has been operating under its current owner.

   Many tournaments & qualifyings have been hosted here over the years. Doral Open Qualifier (1986-2006), Honda Open Qualifier (1992-2002). Since 2003, the club has served as host site for the Men's US Amateur, US Mid Amateur, US Public Links & US Open.
